My Website
FancyIntro is more sophisticated, than the free Curtains stack. This is because FancyIntro supports two lines of text or images (making it perfect for displaying a website title, logo and slogan). A plentiful selection of style and colour settings let you customise many aspects of FancyIntro. Within a couple of clicks, you'll have yourself the most powerful page loading effect available for RapidWeaver! This is quite a remarkable little stack. An excellent example of modern jQuery Javascript and CSS3. FancyIntro is responsive and works in all common web browsers.
If using an image for the upper or lower content boxes, it is advisable the image file is kept as small a possible. Therefore you are assured the image will already be downloaded and ready to display, as the FancyIntro sequence begins. Try and position FancyInstro towards the top of a webpage.
It's strongly recommended that only a single FancyIntro stack is included on each webpage. To include FancyIntro across multiple webpages, you can configure the stack as a partial. FancyIntro should not used in combination with other page loading stacks or theme page loading effects. Theme and stack compatibility varies greatly, so please fully test the free downloadable demo version carefully. Not all stacks like to be hidden as the page loads and there certainly are some stacks that can't be used with FancyIntro.
Example
Refresh this webpage to see the FancyIntro stack 'open' the page for you. If you want to play around with more of the settings, be sure to download the free demo version to tryout on your computer. Stacks 3 or above is required for FancyIntro.Setup
We've purposefully kept the setup of FancyIntro simple, while at the same time providing lots of customisable settings...- Once installed into Stacks and RapidWeaver, open your Stacks library (on a stacks page type)
- Search for 'FancyIntro'. Drag and drop a copy of the stack into your webpage - preferably position it as the first stack at the top of the page
- Within the stack settings, you can customise what type of content to show on line #1 and line #2
- Double-click any sample text shown in edit mode, to replace with your own
- Going back to the stack settings again, feel free to customise any of the style or colour options
- Preview your page in RapidWeaver. Export or publish when done.
